Need help. I have the new Mpeg Smart Renderer 5 and a TS file with ac3 (5.1 channels). When I edit this file, no audio is played back. The format window shows it as AUDIO RESCUE. Outputs from this file are without audio, but there appears to be an audio stream in my media playback software (Media Player Classic).
Interesting Fact: If I first run this file through an alternate video editor, the output from that editor has the AC3 audio still intact. Also, that output file can then be loaded into TMPG Smart Renderer 5 and it has audio (and no "RESCUE" noted). How can I help to fix this bug in the program? Thanks.
Hey All!
I have a bunch of media in mpg, 720x480 format and when I watch them, my entire screen is filled with the movie. BUT, if I re-render them to 720.480 MP4 format there is now a 2 inch border all around the movie. Why does it do this? They're the same size!!! And will do this in Windows Media Player as well as NERO and Windows Classic player... And I'm basically using all the default settings.
Thanks for any help!
I have a BDMV project with a Top Menu and 2 Tracks with Track menus.
Each track contains a video stream with 2 audio streams.
The Top menu is configured to have each track played in sequence (linked).
However, the Audio stream selection button seems to be only available in the Track menu page, not in the Top menu.
As a result, if a user selects a non-default audio stream for playback in Track1, playback automatically continues with Track2 as expected, but with the default audio stream, not the one selected intially when launching Track1.
Is there a way to have the audio stream selection memorized across playback-linked Tracks ?
I think the audio on the Track 2 also must have an Audio page to select the audio, try to make combination when setting your Menu to check if you can accomplish the Menu behavior you want.
cheers
I upgraded windows 7 to 10, and now Video Mastering works 5 will not load. It hang at "Launching Application", so is anyone using works 5 with windows 10?
Upgrading an entire OS to another can cause havoc in software that was installed in the previous OS version.
Try uninstall and then make a clean install of the latest version of TVMW5: 5.5.3.108
Can't confirm it will help though, since i chose to stick with Windows 7.
Hello
Encoding 4k mp4 to mpeg for dvd and bdav
intel 17 980 hex core 12 logical processper 12gb ram writing to a ssd
foreground task priority set to high
background priority set to high
windows 10 reports task manager average cpu usage 50%
Would be very helpful to get alot closer to 100%
Is there a way?
thanks

I think CPU usage depends on the output format/codec. For MPEG-2 (both your output formats are MPEG-2), it might be a limitation of the actual MPEG-2 encoder. You should ask support.
Suddenly, after the latest update to version 6.1.4.25, I can no longer create videos using the XviD video codec, which was my main form of output using TMPGEnc for years.
Recently, I have been turning more and more to MKV and AVCHD output but still, occasionally, have reasons for wanting to create a simple XviD file.
Now, whenever I try to render a project using the XviD video codec, the program seems to start rendering -- showing "Status: Preparing Output" continuously. It never proceeds beyond that point to do any actual encoding. There is no error message, no crash, and no way to stop the process. The only way I can stop rendering is to shut down Video Mastering Works 6 by using the Task Manager [Windows 10 x64].
I've tried uninstalling and re-installing version 6.1.4.25 but that has not helped.
hi there
i when i try to import a video and go to edit i got this error:
write error occurred at address 00007fff6cf0fe34 of module 'ntdll.dll' with 000000000024
fresh install of windows 10 with latest update with amd crismon driver latest. 16.3.2 with codec klite 12.1.5
intel i7 2600, asus p6 deluxe ,16gb memory, ati 290 vga.
latest version of tmpenc.. 26..
got this error since 24 and i thought that was my windows problem.. but i after i formatted today i got same error :(
can any one help me with that problem ?
Try this:
1.Restart your computer. The ntdll.dll error you're receiving could be due
to a one-time, temporary issue and a simple reboot may resolve the problem
completely.
2.Reinstall the program if the ntdll.dll error only displays when you use a
specific program.
Also check about the following:
1.- Quick Time
2.- Codec pack
3.- Other video applications
-Also if you have installed Quick Time or other non-free versions (ex.
QuickTime Alternative 2.3.0) of QuickTime software, please try by
uninstalling them or install the newest free version.
-There is the possibility that the codec pack is making conflict.
If you have installed Ffdshow ,K-lite or other codec pack
please uninstall them and try.
When the application starts it searches all codecs which are installed in
your PC. But when there are any broken, corrupted, trial finished an
unusable codecs, becomes such issue.
Have you installed some other software trial version which is for edit
or show video (except our software)?. Sometimes it will be the reason,
after end of its trial period.
-If you have other video applications (ex. Nero, Roxio, Pinnacle...) is
possible they may have conflicts with Video Mastering Works 6, please
try by uninstalling them.
my englisch isnt very good, so i produced a video showing our workflow with TMPEnc, especially the amount of work to do for a picture in picture setting.
Please, take a look at this video, about 4 minutes, and tell me, how can it be faster done? Is there a way to do less clicks? Maybe a template for the picture in picture mode? A shortcut?
I think there is not such thing as picture in picture template but you could try to save the project then just replace the videos you want to a new output.
cheers
I bought a new camcorder Sony PXW-Z150 and shot some footage encoded with XAVC-L codec and also with MPEG HD 4:2:2 (both in MXF container). I tried to add clips to the Video Mastering Works 6 project. Unfortunately, it can't be done...
Please, add the support of both XAVC-I, XAVC-L, and also MPEG HD 422 codecs in .mxf container, which are used in professional camcorders.
I hope they take this to the wish list.
If you want you could test with the MPEG Smart Renderer 5 - trial version: http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/download/tmsr5.html
try if you can import such files, however if you want to convert such files
such software is not the suitable.
When adding an elementary video stream, the audio stream is automatically added to the video if it's in the same location and it shares the same exact name as the video.
Is there any way to do this with multiple audio streams?
hi,
If your source file contains supported multi-audio streams, I think they will be imported automatically.
Then you can select the main audio stream in the Source stage > pull-down menu that is in the Audio stream, the other audio streams may be has the same name as the source video file.
cheers
The request is for audio Smart Rendering. No need to re-encode low-quality source files, or jump through hoops (demux/remux etc.) in order to keep the original audio.
